My Core Beliefs
- Treat your work as a craft. It makes a big difference to why you do, what you do everyday, and how you do it.
- Fusion of design thinking to technology solutions and process thinking to imagination forms the root for great ideas and products.
- Be a 'Value Catalyst' to your firm and to the people you work with. Degrees, Experience and Designations are only temporary entitlements.
Where I studied
While where I studied helped me start in a first-time job, I have been a life long student, with an insatiable hunger to study and learn from some incredible people, resources around me and also from a lot of opportunities that were thrown at me to solve problems which I did not have an answer to.
Where I worked
I tell people I have never really worked over the last three decades, since I started my career. I had been really lucky to find companies paying me for what I loved doing. Also, when I got bored, I started a company on my own, with a few of my friends and that helped me passionately pursue whatever I believed-in, day-in and day-out.
My experience
I was fortunate to work in the first half of my career which brought my right- brain thinking to the fore and in the second half of my career it helped me bring my left-brain thinking to play. This taught me to apply whole-brain thinking to any work that I do. It enhanced my ability to work with ideas, process and tech.

Books that I read
Books have been a great companion for me to learn from, all my life. If I get stuck, I would reach out to my books to help me find solutions to problems or even open my mind to new ways of thinking and doing things. While I can't name any one or couple of books, I have tried to list a few down for you to browse and see if you, by chance, have not read any of them.
My Learning
I have been a firm believer in upgrading myself, through continuous learning, over the last many years. I look at information, learning and knowledge as three pillars helping me genuinely improve my skills and not as a fancy certificate to get my next job or role. Also, I feel the skills and competencies that I acquire, need to be constantly refurbished, to help me be better as a person, as a leader and as an expert in the field I have chosen.
